I have heard about this chain from my friend in Mexico; so when I was visiting San Antonio; I had to check it out! The restaurant was neat and clean and was very nicely decorated for the holidays.I wanted to try a bit of everything and the employee was super helpful. We even purchased some of their socks and were gifted a stocking. Maybe I’ll find some chicken in it next year!The food was really good and worth the hype for fast food. The Tajin chicken and Buffalo were my personal favorites.At the restaurant we had accidentally forgotten our order of fries and the staff was so sweet; they ran out and across the parking lot to make sure we had all our food!If you’re driving down San Antonio and are thinking of stopping between there or Mickey D’s ; choose Pollo Pepe’s- there is no contest!!

Husband and I came to try this place for lunch, first timers and it did not disappoint. The chicken was so delicious and juicy and we also got the flautas preparadas, crispy and delicious. Lady taking our order was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be coming back.

Your taste buds will thank you.First of all, Destiny the hostess, beautiful, excellent personality, always smiling, very attentive, just the person to brighten up the overall experience.Food: Wow, there was just so much food for a fast food restaurant, and the taste, wow again. Make no mistake, this is a Mexican restaurant and they hold true to the spiciness of Mexico.Had the 2 piece chicken that came with Mexican rice and corn tortillas.Also asked for flautas and she said it could come with price, cream and cheese, wow, it was good.Of course to top it off I had the horchata and the flan. Also wow!!!Love the atmosphere and the "Proud to be Mexican" sign.Wish they had one near my home.Thanks Destiny!!!

Great service way too good to be fast food possibly my favorite Horchata that I’ve ever tasted and their salsa Is the real deal chicken was super juicy and delicious. I wasn’t really a fan of the jeracalla but overall super solid I would definitely eat here again

Pollo Pepe is a fantastic spot for delicious, juicy grilled chicken! The food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and a healthier alternative to fried chicken without sacrificing taste. The portions are adequate, and the sides complement the meal perfectly.A special shoutout to Joanna- she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and so on top of everything that I honestly thought she was the manager! Her excellent customer service made the experience even better.If you’re looking for great grilled chicken with top-notch service, Pollo Pepe is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Customer service was exceptional! Food was delicious! Loved the different sauces, takes the food to a different level

We’ve visited this place twice this month. On our first visit we ordered the 8 piece family meal of grilled chicken with a large side of Mexican rice, large side of Charro beans, and two large lemonade drinks. On the second visit a few days ago, we ordered two of the 8 piece family meals with 2 large sides each of Mexican rice and Charro beans, corn tortillas and green sauce. The food is excellent. Well seasoned food that is freshly made. Great customer service. We will definitely return again and would highly recommend you try this restaurant.

Very clean when you walk inside. Relaxing music on the background. Staff is friendly and even the manager walked by to see how we were doing. We bought a 12 piece plus flautas and it was very good. Their green salsa was flavorful along with the beans. Definitely coming back!
